Kate Middleton had a down-to-earth day on Friday, immersing herself in nature alongside children at a forest school in Hereford.

The Duchess of Cambridge, sporting a smart-casual ensemble comprising a grey blazer, jeans, and boots, sat on a log, engaging in conversations with the schoolchildren who were dressed in red.

For this occasion, Kate opted for a chic yet comfortable look, donning a checkered blazer from Maje, complemented by a pair of black denim jeans and a simple black knit. Her choice of footwear, See by Chloé combat boots, ensured she was ready to explore the great outdoors.

Kate attended the event with her husband, Prince William, to draw attention to the forest school's importance and advocate for outdoor learning in the regular curriculum. The Duchy of Cornwall had provided Madley Primary School with a woodland site at Brampton Hill Wood 12 years ago, which has been used effectively as a forest school site by both students and teachers.

After their visit to the forest school, the royal couple headed to Kings Pitt Farm, where they met with representatives from a local mental health charity known as We Are Farming Minds, another partner of the Duchy of Cornwall.

Kate's practical yet polished attire, which included a pair of black denim skinny jeans, a black knit top, and her See by Chloé boots, was perfectly suited for a day of outdoor education and exploration.

To complete her look, the Duchess added some simple gold jewelry, including her Daniella Draper Midnight Moon necklace and the Spells of Love Teardrop Garnet Drop Hoops, showcasing her style in a setting that emphasizes the importance of nature and learning outdoors.
