Woodstock Festival 1969: the concert that changed live music for ever. The line up included rock legends like Jimi Hendrix, Santana and The Who - but Woodstock was about more than just the music. It’s now the symbol of the 60’s, the end of an era of peace + love, sex, drugs and Rock & Roll, with 500,000 attending. The artist behind the famous poster + original T-shirt design, Arnold Skolnick, summed up the mood of the nation: "Something was tapped, a nerve, in this country. And everybody just came."
