Labor Day Weekend. 1969, two weeks after Woodstock, a newly formed Led Zeppelin were among an array of artists including BB King, Janis Joplin, and Santana performing at the Texas Pop Festival. The hippie movement of the Sixties was at it's most euphoric, collecting up the world's youth along the way as it promised a new future full of love and unity for all. Some of the polish may have gone over time but one thing was changed that year, music took centre stage and the world would never be the same again.
