Long hair, nudity, mud and group showers to clean off and cool down were all part of the vibe at Woodstock - a classic image of which is captured on this t-shirt.
Woodstock Festival 1969: the concert that changed live music for ever. The line up included rock legends like Jimi Hendrix, Santana and The Who - but Woodstock was about more than just the music. It’s now the symbol of the 60s, the end of an era of peace & love, sex, drugs and rock & roll, with 500,000 attending. The artist behind the famous poster and original t-shirt design, Arnold Skolnick, summed up the mood of the nation: "Something was tapped, a nerve, in this country. And everybody just came."
This vintage style t-shirt was handmade in Europe from the finest 140gsm cotton and individually crafted for a unique vintage feel. All Worn By garments are sweatshop free, ethically sourced and imported by sea in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint.
Please note Worn By is unable to sell Woodstock clothing to residents of Japan, Australia and France.
