Like the Isle of Wight festival in the early 70's, Glastonbury was
heavily influenced by hippie ethics and the free festival movement.
Organiser Michael Eavis decided to hist the first festival in 1970 after
seeing an open air Led Zeppelin concert. 1500 people came to see T.Rex
headline and a year later almost double came to see Pink Floyd and David
Bowie on the first incarnation of the pyramid stage, made form
scaffolding and metal sheeting.
his vintage t-shirt was made in Europe from the finest 140gsm cotton. All Worn By garments
