Worn by Muhammad Ali in the run up to his fight with Joe Frazier. The fight took place on October 1st, 1975 at Araneta Coliseum, Manila, where the two men were competing for the world Heavyweight title. Five years previously Frazier had won a fight, and now Ali was back to show the world who was boss. This time around he was victorious, and as usual the lead-up was just as exciting as the fight itself, Ali aptly named this heated fight "The Thrilla in Manilla" and mockingly referred to Frazier as the "Gorilla".
