This image of Keith Richards is part of an unseen series taken by photographer George Chin, backstage in Manchester. This particular image captures Keith in good spirits customising his jeans and trainers before a gig, wearing a t -shirt from iconic strip joint The Babydoll Lounge in New York. Keith's continued lifestyle of excess away from the stage and recording studio has made him a people's hero and an outlaw to the mundane. But his guitar style, influenced by the rock'n'roll of Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry, will be his lasting legacy.
